30 Second Challenge puzzles appeared initially in my books published in the UK for Ladybird in 1995 and then re-issued by Penguin in 2000. In the first five years sales of these books exceeded half a million copies. These books were written for children but it was suggested to me that adults would like similar challenges at their level.
30 Second Challenge is now an extremely successful and popular puzzle for adults.
