MONTHLY ASTROLOGY

ARIES (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

Move from obsessing with details, to loving all that you do. Instead of running around in circles, take a deep breath and knuckle down to the task in front of you. By doing what needs to be done you will open up the door to satisfaction, to pleasure. Excellence gratifies.

TAURUS (Apr 21 – May 20)

The journey is one of liberation. The disciplines that you are caught in seem to be a trap. Paradoxically, you get out of their trap by embracing it. By doing what needs to be done, you free up the space to flap your wings and head into the open sky. Bulls do fly!

GEMINI (May 21 – June 21)

The need to look truth in the eye isn’t easing off. It is staying with you. The habit of mercurial diversion is due to come unstuck. Life is leaning on you. It is cooking you in the steamer of focus and crystallised intention. Your relationships will concentrate your energy.

CANCER (June 22 – Jul 22)

The cyclic nature of events isn’t about to let up. First you open your sails to a favourable breeze, then suddenly you are becalmed. The moment you adjust to going nowhere, doing nothing, life offers you a wild feisty adventure, completely out of the blue. Don’t pre-empt.

LEO (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

Slowly shift from thinking about things, to getting out your toolkit and putting all that you have been prevaricating about, into nuts and bolts practise. In shifting into action, reality might initially feel restricting. That won’t last. Be patient. Your skill level will soon increase.

VIRGO (Aug 23 – Sept 22)

You are on the cosmic fire. Life is heating you up. It is warming you in a planetary crock-pot. Passion is building. The habit of containment isn’t really going to be able to stay intact for too much longer. Time it right. Come out of your shell in style. Be expressive.

LIBRA (Sept 23 – Oct 23)

Having to deal with pragmatic realities seems purgatorial at times. Liberation isn’t too far away. The quality of your release depends entirely on how well you deal with the discipline that life is imposing now. Set yourself up for satisfaction by being thorough.

SCORPIO (Oct 24 – Nov 21)

As the Sun moves into Sagittarius, so it’s time to return to anonymity and the appropriate amount of seclusion required to replenish your batteries. You generate your powerful transformative energies best in quiet times. Forget about what you think you should be doing.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

The answer doesn’t lie in the job you are doing. It is perfectly wonderful. The issue is more to do with who you are, or how you perceive yourself to be. Circumstance is inviting you do a little self-reflection. Are you giving yourself what you want? Or are you deferring?

CAPRICORN (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

The Sun is coming your way; but first there’s a small trial by fire to attend to. It’s not quite as dramatic as it sounds. It’s time to be clear, forthright and direct with your perceptions. There’s no point in going thoroughly up the wrong path. Set your compass, then move.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Having been a thousand times around the block trying to figure out which way is forward, Uranus finally clicks into gear, taking you with him. Uranus is all about being rebellious and free. In Aries, he’s all about having the adventure, not thinking about it. It won’t be dull.

PISCES (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

It’s forward-ho. Uncurl your wings. You have been in the chrysalis way too long. The transformational process you have been waiting for is actually long since completed. Now is for getting it out of the garage and onto the open road. Show yourself as you are.
